Depending on your nationality, the country in which your driver's license was obtained and if you will be traveling as a visitor or a resident, these requirements may vary. Documents for Visitors

If you're a tourist then most likely you'll have to provide some of the following documentation:

Valid passport

The requirement of an international driving permit will depend on the type of license you hold

The first page of a passport is typically used for stamping and/or visa placement.

Make sure that your Passport and Licence remain active throughout the rental period, and all data can be read. There are some Licences which can be used without any changes; however, there are other Licences which will require you to obtain an International Driving Permit. If you are not sure if your Licence can be used without changes, then please take a photo of your Licence using WhatsApp, and we will advise you.

Documents required of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Residents.

If you reside in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), then you will need to obtain your Emirates ID as well as a valid driver's license from the UAE.

Security deposit and payment

A security deposit may be needed. You can send us a message through WhatsApp and we'll tell you what's required based upon your country of citizenship. Your security deposit amount and how you pay it are dependent on the vehicle you choose and the length of time you plan to rent it. We'll provide all necessary information about this prior to confirming your reservation.

All rental companies have their own specific set of rules regarding who can operate their vehicles; however, most companies have different rules for different types of cars, as well as being based on the driver's age and length of time the driver has owned his/her license. In addition, only the person that booked the car rental is allowed to drive it. If you plan to allow another individual to drive the vehicle, you must inform us prior to picking up the vehicle. We will need to make sure that we can add that person to the lease contract. By providing us with your documentation ahead of time, you will be able to avoid having to wait for approval at check-in. Our staff member will let you know whether or not your documentation is acceptable to allow you to obtain the vehicle that you would like to rent.

At the time of handing over the car, it would be best if you had all of your paperwork together. This way, the hand-over will only require a few minutes. While handing over the car, after receiving the keys from us, you should take a walk around the car with us and inspect the condition of the car's body, tires, and fuel. It may also be beneficial to take a couple of photographs for your records and ask any questions you have regarding the car's mileage, petrol, and other specifications. Checking the vehicle before driving away can save you from having to deal with numerous issues in the future.

In Dubai, there are electronic toll gates that have strict parking and speed restrictions. Follow the parking regulations, maintain an appropriate distance between yourself and other drivers, and adhere to the speed limits for each road.
